Privacy policy

• Account details: your name, email address and mobile number, and your password stored only as a secure hash. We record whether you have confirmed your email address.
• Trading journal: if you connect MetaTrader 5, your account number, broker server, account currency, balance, open positions and closed trades (symbol, direction, size, prices, times, profit, commission and swap), plus notes and tags you add.
• Investor password: if you connect MT5 with your investor (read-only) password, it is encrypted as soon as it reaches us, with a key that only our sync server can unlock, and used only to read your account. An investor password cannot place trades or withdraw money. We never ask for your main (trading) password.
• Purchases: the plan you bought, the amount, any discount code, the payment status and the payment reference.
• Emails we send: a log of account emails (confirmation, welcome, receipts, reminders and password resets) with the recipient, subject and delivery status.

Online payments are processed by Razorpay. Your card, UPI and bank details are entered on Razorpay's checkout and never reach or are stored by us; we receive only the payment status and reference. If you pay by UPI or bank transfer manually, we store the transaction reference you give us.

• to create and secure your account and confirm your email address;
• to give you the membership or journal access you paid for, and send receipts and access reminders;
• to sync and show your trading journal;
• to answer your questions and prevent misuse of the site.

We do not use your data for advertising and do not sell or rent it to anyone.

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Charts and the economic calendar are embedded from TradingView, which may set its own cookies under its privacy policy.

We use these service providers to run the site, and share with them only what they need:

• Vercel (website hosting) and Neon (database);
• Razorpay (payments);
• Google Gmail (sending account emails);
• Microsoft Azure, India (the server that syncs MT5 accounts connected with an investor password).

Some of these providers may process data outside India, with safeguards required by law. We may also disclose data when the law requires it.

We keep your data while your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile and journal data, except payment records, which we keep for as long as tax and accounting laws require. You can stop MT5 syncing and delete a saved investor password at any time on the journal's Connect MT5 page.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw consent by closing your account. Email us at support@fxtradersclub.in and we will respond within 30 days.

Data is sent over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, investor passwords are encrypted, and sync keys are stored as one-way hashes. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong password that you don't use elsewhere.

For any question or complaint about your data, contact the FX Traders Club grievance contact at support@fxtradersclub.in. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 30 days.
